Hey everyone!

So it’s been a few weeks and let me tell you, it’s been a bit rough. Starting a couple of weeks ago, I came down sick with a chest cold. It really wasn’t that big of a deal, but there were days when I just couldn’t breath really well, and I had a hard time sleeping, which lead me to missing that week’s update because on Monday I just wasn’t up to working on it or doing any of the updating.  

Really, it’s been hard to work on a lot of stuff over the last couple of weeks. But I figured after a couple of days, I’d feel better and I’d still stream anyway, so it wouldn’t be that bad. Then on that following Friday, I came down with a toothache that night and suddenly I was very ill.

Not only did I have a toothache that pain killers didn’t seem to be effective on, I had constant drainage which made me unable to breathe and was dehydrating me to the point that whenever I would try and drink water, it would immediately turn to mucus in the back of my throat. There were times on Saturday and Sunday when I felt like I might actually have to go to the hospital.

So last week, I just completely took the week off. I was too sick to do anything until about Wednesday and then I finally started feeling better. I know, because I started REALLY wanting to draw things, so I kind of went nuts doodling for a few days.

But, now I feel… okay. The cough is still there, and I still have moments where I’m suddenly tired or a bit achey, but I feel a bit better overall, and more or less capable of doing things. I still get urpy a bit and my stomach still gets a bit upset from the drainage now and again, but I feel like I’m doing better.

The update is a bit late, I understand, but I had to work on some spreadsheets and such to get everything organized before getting this up to date.

I’m going to do my best to get everything taken care of from here on out. I’ve still got my commission work on the hook, but I’m going to push and try and get that done. Then, I’ve got Various Happenings which is still being worked on. Frankly, I’d like to put out what I’ve got, but it’s still not complete, so I just have to keep on trucking until it’s finally done.

Other projects are being worked on, certainly, and I’ve got a few things on the table that I’m really excited about, but for now, I want to clear out all of the dust from earlier this year and try to finally get things set straight.

It’s been a long few years since the end of 2018… and life’s been rough. I’m hoping to break into a new era very soon. But for now, we’ll just keep at it.
