Hey everyone!
I’m friggin’ BACK. I have successfully made the trip from the far south to the midwest and after several weeks of pain, I’m finally getting settled in and getting a chance to get back to doing what I do best.
It was harrowing, it is very expensive to travel, the rental market is a fucking racket and you have to spend money to make money but we’re finally here in the creakiest old house we could get and ready to go.
So begins my year of working on projects and bettering myself to see if I can’t make this whole thing a more self-sustaining enterprise without me grinding my ghost ass down into ectopowder. X.x
My schedule is going to be a bit nebulous at first because I’m going to be getting up a lot earlier than I generally was and I don’t know what sort of help I’m going to have to be around the house with Tigre and the kid during the first week, so we’ll just have to play it by ear a bit.
My plan is to make work “blocks” and hit things hard during the week, with liberal breaks, in order to get my leftover commissions done and get work on projects going. I’m hoping to aim for 40 hours a week or about 13 to 14 three-hour sessions on different things. So hopefully it’ll all come together!
One of my first priorities is finishing up my commission list, naturally, so let’s see where we stand there.

As you can see, the list is still pretty hefty, but it’s coming down slowly. I’ll be chipping away at it, while also grinding away the discount bin stuff I have planned and coming up with new items to place on it. If you put in a form but I didn’t check in with you, as I complete things I’ll be adding the remaining orders to the list. I just want to keep things fresh and make sure I don’t get burnt out.
The money that I make now will be going towards improving my business and investing in things like new equipment for work as well as making merchandise as well as investing in my health and getting myself in a good place for future projects.
Back to work, I’ll be focusing on a large picture set for Doc and two Conception Foundation sets for Salisha and another client. These have all been in process way too long, so I’m hoping that now that the move is no longer hanging over my head, I’ll be able to properly focus and really enjoy the process.
I’d just been having a hard time concentrating for the last few months, knowing that this was coming and I was under the gun, but now that’s all over and I can finally just get back to drawing!
After that, we’ll burn the list down one by one. I’ve got a few personal pieces I want to do streams for, and we might get to see the return of an old favorite on Fridays coming up, so that’ll be fun.
I’ll also be doing Various Happenings and Clara blocks, some on stream, some by myself, in order to get that three month buffer going on both of them. I’ll have to see how much work I can put out, but hopefully, I can get some momentum going.
