Heyo fox friends!
We’re heading towards winter-time and things are moving along! One and a half months into my “year of self-investment” and already we’re down to eight items left on the list and some serious progress towards my comic buffer! It seems like it’s been longer than that, but no, there’s just been a lot going on.
Still, I am sorry for the fickleness of my moods, and I have been hopping all over the list. There are just some times when certain content resonates, and sometimes when it doesn’t. But we’ll get through all of it, and I’ll do my best to present high quality work!

Anzu: Assorted Occurances [Not Yet Issued]
We’re almost done with Anzu’s set, just a little more now and some clean-up. The Conception Foundation comics I have in the works have been sitting for a bit due to my muse being reluctant. Hopefully I’ll get the inkling to cut loose on them pretty soon. I’ll do my best either way, but my stream watchers had been rather swamped in that for a bit, and I wanted to give them a break, too.
Speaking of streams, though, starting this week I’ll be, once again, doing Sketch on the Spot on Fridays! Come in, relax, and get a pic drawn! It’s that simple!
Rules work the same as they did, with some minor adjustments:
1. Join the Discord server! To do so you either have to apply via a form that I’ll open up at the end of every month, ask me directly (providing I’m familiar with you; I won’t let you in if I have no idea who you are) or get someone in the server to vouch for you. Alternatively, you can join our SubscribeStar (for as little as a dollar!) and automatically get an invite to the discord server. [You must be 18 or older to apply.]
2. Ask to be on the List! PM me or ask me in chat, and I’ll put you on the list for your spot.
3. Wait for the Announcement! I usually stream starting around 9AM CST, and I will generally make an announcement about 30 minutes to an hour in advance. You can get the Stream Subscriber role to be alerted whenever I make these announcements.
4. Let Me Know that You’re Ready! Post in the appropriate channel/thread that you’re here and ready. Let me know what you’re planning on getting, and I’ll consult the list and ping the people at the top, going in order for whoever is around.
5. Sit Back and Enjoy! I’ll stream the pictures on my Jottor and you can hang out and chat, or just watch and enjoy the doodling!
6. Give Money, Get Picture! Once it’s done, I’ll invoice you and once it’s paid, I’ll dropbox/PM you the picture! And just like that, art! Once your piece is done, I’ll move your name to the bottom of the list and you’ll slowly work your way back to the top as people’s pieces get finished. (You don’t have to make it all the way to the top of course, it just depends on who shows up.) [Any outstanding invoices will preclude further pictures until they’re paid.]
Each slot will be $20 USD and be good for one (1) character sketch with limited flat color. If you want a piece cleaned up, then you can ask for it when I have an open slot for standard commissions, and pay the difference in price at that time.
I’m hoping this will give a chance for people to commission me more and maintain some income, while not dramatically increasing my workload and preventing me from working on Various Happenings or Clara Cosmos as large commission numbers have done in the past. I’m going to try and do it on Fridays, but I might do an extra one early on in the week now and again, so that people who can’t usually catch it will be able to now and again.
I will still be knocking out the forms that are sitting in my files soon enough, after the current group is taken care of, of course.
I’ll be starting that on this Friday, though next week (Nov. 13 to Nov. 17) I will not be streaming at all due to my roommate being out of town on business, and having to help their wife take care of their child for the week (they’re quite a handful!)
Other than that, things are just going! Nothing more to report, I hope you all had a spooktacular Halloween, a reflective Samhain, and are enjoying the fall weather.
Those of you in the US, don’t forget to vote on Tuesday! It’s an off season year, but local and municipal elections are still very important and perhaps affect you the most directly! So go vote!
