Hey peeps!

Phew!  Things have been a bit all over the place!

Thanksgiving was good (we had a nice peaceful day at home) but my sleep got thrown way off so I’m still trying to recover from that.

I also have jury duty on Friday!

So that’s going to be fun. I probably won’t get selected but that has the potential to throw EVERYTHING out of whack. Hopefully not, but we’ll see what happens!

Just working on the list currently!

I also talked to my dentist and if everything settles out next week, then we can get started in January and that’s going to be a really big deal!

Might put me down for a bit, but I’m sure afterwards things will get much better much quicker!

I can only hope at the very least that it’ll improve my overall nutrition and ability to care for myself in the future!

Hey peeps.

Just going through the list this week and asking everyone if they still want their Halloween pics. I’m still a bit anxious, and I felt really bad about not making everything by Halloween, but a few people have told me that no one expected me to manage everything, and that it's more about raising funds for my teeth, so while I do still feel bad, I’m feeling a little better overall.

I'm just trying to get through everything and start doing uploads and the like that I've been dragging my feet on because I'm so stressed.

But, anyway. Nothing to report other than I’m working on stuff! Going to see about giving my dentist a call later this week so we can set up something for December! A little nervous, but it’ll be good to get this stuff moving finally!

Hey peeps!

Sorry for dropping off last week, I was not feeling very well at all and I was consistently rather tired and unable to really function very much. Me and my roommate were musing that I might have caught something (possibly even Covid, even though we’re all vaccinated) due to us all being extremely tired during the last few weeks all the time. Though it could also be the sudden change in weather or a number of other factors. I’ve had a consistent cough and that, but mainly I think I just stressed myself down to the point I could get sick.

I’m doing much better now, though!

So, as you may or may not know, Spooky Fun ‘21 is still going on. Though I’m not taking any new orders beyond the ones I have in my inbox right now, I still have a number of orders pre-Halloween to get done. I know I guaranteed that I’d have them done by Halloween and that didn’t happen, unfortunately. So, as always, if anyone who hasn’t gotten work in progress or done yet wants to get a refund for the not completed work, I’ll be happy to oblige. If you don’t mind, though, then I’ll be working on them steadily in order to fight back against the ever encroaching presence of Christmas.

I’m very close to be able to pay for my upcoming dental work entirely out of pocket, but we’ll make it happen regardless! It’s been a long time coming and I’m a little apprehensive, but we’re almost there!

Anyone not on the list who contacted me after Halloween, I still have your information, I just wasn’t able to add it, yet, but I’ll get around to that asap.

That said, next year I’ll be happy to do this again… with a few more restrictions and a bit more breathing room to make sure it’s more fun for everyone. We’ll see about that when I get there, though.

Hey everyone…

So wow, it’s been a hell of a couple of weeks for a number of reasons. I actually had a blurb typed up last week but it never got posted because I kind of got blindsided by some issues with my phone provider and spent the entire afternoon trying to get that taken care of!

See, apparently, my phone service provider got hacked on the back end and someone decided to use my account to buy a very expensive brand new iPhone and have it delivered to somewhere in Michigan. I didn’t realize this until the money came out of my account because they didn’t ask for any authentication to change my address or make the purchase, so suddenly I was out about $1100.

Currently, everything seems to have gotten worked out since there was apparently a rash of these due to the hacking, so I’m supposed to be getting the money back (as of right now the money is pending on my Paypal account, but it might take it a few days to go through.)

So, you know, that emotionally wrecked me for most of the first half the week and busted up my sleep schedule something fierce!

Also, my roommate had serious muscle issues in his back in the middle of the week, so I spent a few days worried about him, because he got up in the middle of the night on Wednesday and couldn’t stand up. (Apparently he just pinched a nerve in his back and threw it out, but he seems to be alright now, so that’s good.)

So, you know! At least everything calmed down by my other roommate’s birthday on Sunday, so THAT was a nice relaxing day at least.

As for the Halloween stuff, the response to it has been really good! Too good! XD

I bit off way more than I could chew (as some of you expected) but I’ll be doing my best to get something done for everyone who’s ordered something thus far by Halloween. It’s a bit of a tall order now, due to me more or less being completely shut down last week. Not only that, but getting Ch.5 of Various Happenings out just took too much out of me for me to be able to pace myself for such an influx of orders. I figured it might happen. I was hoping it wouldn’t, but last week just firmly put me behind.

Anyway, I will be cutting off orders here! Thank you so much all of you for your support in this holiday event! <3 All that’s to do is the drawing now, I guess!

To make up for it I’ll be doing streams on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and on Halloween on Sunday! I’ll be doing as much as I can this week!

As for the leftovers that I won’t be able to get to by Halloween, I’m sure people won’t mind pushing Christmas back a little. >=/ People already have their Christmas decorations up around here! Can you believe it?!

I like Yule as much as the next person, but seriously!

But seriously, if anyone wants a refund for their pics, since I’m sure to be behind on some of them, please let me know. Next year I plan to set aside more time than I did, and to set limits on how much each person can buy. But there WILL be a next year. Either way, this has been so much of a help towards getting my dental work done, and I look forward to a much healthier year next year!

So yeah! That’s how it’s going! Thank you everyone for the support and patronage. Slowly I’m starting to cobble myself together. I just have to… you know… not go out on a limb so much. Maybe 2022 will be the year I finally get everything synced up! We can hope!

 Hey everyone!

Wow! So I’m putting the finishing touches on Various Happenings “Chapter 5: Weaving In New Threads”. It’s been a long time and I’ve done a lot of things, tried a lot of things, failed at a lot of things, and had a lot of trial and error, but it’s finally coming together! I hope you all enjoy what I’ve got to show you!

We’ll be having a stream tomorrow at 12PM EDT and I’ll be hanging out, maybe doing doodles, showing off old VH art and answering questions, and then at 4PM EDT, I’ll be updating the site and it’ll be available to view, finally!

It’s been a long time. I’ve been working on this for almost 10 months, and it’s been only a day or two shy of year since the last Various Happenings update. A lot of things have happened in the meantime and a lot of changes to my plans and how things are going to go have happened. So, I hope you all like this direction and I hope to hear some feedback and comments from the lot of you on the finished chapter!

Hey there, peeps!

Well the Spooky Season is officially upon us, and I’ve got a lot of work to do, lemme tell you!

First and foremost, this week we’re launching Chapter 5 of Various Happenings!

I’ve been working hard on this for almost 10 months now after my break at the end of last year and while it’s come with pitfalls and switchbacks and a lot of other problems and dead ends, I do feel like I’ve learned something from the whole experience. It’s too late to apply that to this chapter, but I’ll definitely have finger chops for things going forward.

This Friday I’ll be running a stream from 12AM to most likely 8PM EDT for the launch of Chapter 5 and a sort of showing off assorted VH artworks and doodling characters and answering questions. Kind of a Launch Party/AMA. It’ll be fun, I hope, and I hope it’ll be ready, to be honest!

There's no chat on Jottor.tv, but you can join us over at the Fox Saliant Studios Discord and hang out while we reminisce and talk about the past and future of Various Happenings, plus other things I might have up my sleeve! :3

There are a few more things to be done, but I’m going to try my best to get everything put together before the big day, even if I have to work long hours on it.

Hey peeps!

Sorry for missing the stream on Friday. Got sick and I spent most of the day in bed, but I feel more or less recovered now! It’s taken a lot longer for my roomie to get over it, but she’s taking good care of herself (and she took a covid test and it came back negative, so it was probably just a sinus bug.)

I will be doing another Spooky Fun stream on Friday to make up for the one I missed last week, but this week is going to be dominated by working on Various Happenings! I’ve only got this week and next week until Friday to get everything done! This is the home stretch, but it’s going to be out on the 8th no matter what! Still, I feel like it’ll come out great and I hope you’re all looking forward to it as much as I am!

The response to the Spooky Fun stuff has been great, and I can’t wait to work on that some more. After October 8th, I’ll be taking a few days to relax, and then blitzing them hard all the way up to Halloween, so I hope you all join me for those streams!
